so far :) The weather’s been great & I’ve really been enjoying myself with hiking and such. I’m very thankful this weekend has turned out differently than the last.. Boring :P Celebrating a friend’s birthday with funny, awkward things is bound to always be a blast.
Today it’s going to be 70 DEGREES! I think it might just be a miracle if we get to that temp. I’ll be enjoying every second of it before the rain & cold comes back, despite work & homework I have to do today.

There’s been a lot on the news lately about Egypt concerning its protests and rallies. Nothing on a news network could ever amount to firsthand accounts on the current situation.
My family who lives in Cairo say that the condition of the county is becoming more and more unstable. “[The] situation is currently on fire” they said. Now they say that Cellular service has stopped working across the region. Many have also lost their connection to the internet. My family says that many Egyptians have “no connection to [the] outer world”.
I’m not big on being a news journalist, but the recent events in my dad’s home county and the country where I was born have caught my eye. The Egyptian people are trying to speak out. Although most protests and rallies have gone without violence, there have been reports of some incidents. Most analysts agree that something’s going to break eventually. Probably sooner than later in my opinion.
Today went well.
I think they liked me :) I really hope so ‘cause I need a new job ASAP, especially since I’ll be living on campus in Anderson next semester. The sun finally came out, and I was able to get a good number of things done today! We went out to Los Amigos for my friend’s birthday too. Nomnomnomnom.
I am also very excited about friday (although a little skeptical about one thing planned). It’s definitely going to be a fun break I need from school and to celebrate one of my best friend’s (other friend’s) birthday!! You guys should follow him if you don’t already, he’s pretty awesome.
& that is all my folks; goodnight. Now let me do my francais homeworkee ;]
